Who is ScribbleMouth

I never imagined ScribbleMouth would take off the way it has, yet here we are — and I get more excited each day by the community we’re building together. What drives me is the belief that curiosity should be nurtured, celebrated, and shared openly. I see this space as more than content; it’s a chance to help shape a world that values open-mindedness, collaboration, and the joy of learning. I grew up at Bondi Beach, lucky enough to have the ocean at my doorstep. To this day, the sea remains one of my greatest sources of inspiration, alongside the cosmos, music, and snooker. These influences, vast and varied, fuel the way I think, create, and share ideas.

Curiosity

I grew up surrounded by a family of strong, inspiring figures. My dad was a curious thinker and brilliant speaker, always filling the house with history documentaries, radio programs, and his own unique opinions, which encouraged me to ask questions and even sparked my first interest in astronomy. On my mum’s side, I was raised in the company of resilient women — my mum, aunty, and granny — who instilled in me the importance of standing up for what’s right, challenging unfairness, and facing problems with courage rather than fear. My older brother was another guiding force: he introduced me to music that shaped my teenage years, encouraged me to surf, and embodied the charisma of debating, performing, and leading — qualities I admired and often tried to follow. Surrounded by brilliance, I sometimes felt suffocated, like I had to push back or hide my growth just to be seen. That tension shaped me profoundly.

Storytelling

When I moved out at 18, everything shifted. A close friend described it as a “personality revolution,” and that phrase stuck because it was true. I discovered that I wasn’t the shy kid I’d always thought myself to be. I surprised myself with how social I was, how many connections I made, and I learned one of the most important lessons of my life: you can do anything you set your mind to.

Adventure

Still, the path wasn’t straightforward. From the age of 12, I’d been fascinated by educational creators like Vsauce and Veritasium, secretly dreaming of making videos like theirs. I even started creating content at 18, but embarrassment and fear of judgment made me give up before I could take it seriously. It took four more years of stumbling, searching, and quietly building courage before I tried again. After finishing university and a brief period teaching, I finally committed to my passion — and in 2025, ScribbleMouth was born.

Storytelling

Since then, the response has been overwhelming. By August, I had built an audience of 200,000 on Instagram, and that number has only continued to grow. The follower count isn’t what matters most, but I can’t deny the warm feeling it gives me to see so many people resonate with what I’m trying to share. Like watching an athlete celebrate a hard-won victory, I know that what makes me happiest is not the scoreboard, but the journey it reflects — the risks, the growth, and the persistence it took to get here.

Adventure

After years of feeling lost, to now be invigorated and impassioned by something I believe in is the greatest reward I could have asked for. ScribbleMouth is more than a platform to me — it’s a way of living with curiosity, confidence, and authenticity. My hope is that, as this community grows, it can keep inspiring others to embrace their own curiosities, shine their light, and contribute to a world where wonder and openness are the norm.
